❌Decision Intelligence without decision modeling is a rebranded legacy.
❌Decision modeling without the Decision Model and Notation (DMN) standard creates technical and business operation debt.
❌Decision Model and Notation (DMN) without Conformance Level 3 (CL3) is just a static picture, a doodle — You might as well instead use a whiteboard or pen-and-paper. DMN without execution has very little value.
❌DMN Conformance Level 3 (CL3) without low-code/no-code orchestration cannot create context, integrate data, services, and machinelearning in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, as it heavily relies on the senior software development team.
❌Low-code/no-code orchestration without LiveContext(tm), Continuous Decision Model with long-running capability cannot be adaptive, event-driven and learn from environment.
Where does this lead us?
Open Decision Intelligence Platform (DIP) must:
✔ Provide decision modeling that is based on Decision Model and Notation (DMN) – Conformance Level 3 for transparency and clarity ensuring suitability in regulated environment
✔ Offer strong data-and-services connectors and data processing capability to reducing reliance on IT in all stages project lifecycle
✔ Support the Continuous Decision Model (CDM) for decision orchestration that brings silo decisions together while enabling feedback loop to make them adaptive
✔ Integrate a reusable and governed end-to-end context assembled from decision-ready data and customer interaction shared by all involved decision models spanning over time
